From the cover: Jake Sutton is one of Britains leading contemporary painters, who has regularly exhibited in London since 1979, enjoying many sell-out solo shows.
Born in Manchester in 1947, at the age of seven he won the Daily Express National Childrens Painting Competition, and at thirteen established his future direction in painting by attending Manchester High School of Art. At eighteen he continued his study of painting at St Martins School of Art, London.
