Poor. A copy for reading rather than admiring, generally shabby but text complete and acceptable. Binding shot, back strip nearly detached and much rubbing to the boards. Previous owners’ inscription to the first blank with a book plate to the pastedown. Edges of the leaves tanned and rubbed. Text complete, clean and tight with the tissue-guarded plates in good order.
