Condition: Good. Leather binding is worn and rubbed, heavily at the corners, with a 1″ split to the join of the upper board and the head of the spine. Small sticker to the front pastedown. Small shop stamp to the blank and first title page with a signature to the blank. Pages lightly age-tanned overall but with some gathers more heavily so, and scattered foxing throughout.
Carries a second title page from the 1870 edition of Hermann Mendelssohn. Half-leather binding with five raised banks. Marbled lining papers.
